Hear Why This Conference is so Important to Attend for Your Community

Learning that Moves Communities Forward

“I am grateful for the information and knowledge that I gained from attending the 2025 Main Street Conference.  I attended several sessions that gave me great ideas and helped me understand what promotions are and what fundraising is, which is one thing our organization is struggling with.

One thing that I learned from the “Promotions That Make Money” session and that has stuck with me is that an event doesn’t necessarily mean it is a fundraiser, and a fundraiser does not necessarily have to be an event. I also made a ton of great connections and got very useful information to bring back to Main Street Mexico.” Barb Jones, Main Street Mexico

Learning Through Each Others Accomplishments

“During the 2024 revitalization conference, I enjoyed seeing the accomplishments of others through the tours and the presentations. One of the sessions I attended taught me ways to record the lost history of buildings or spaces. This assured me that my dream to record the lost history around the square is possible.

The biggest, most actionable takeaway from this conference for me was to check on the zoning codes of our town. This is a vital step for our community to move forward with revitalizing our historic commercial district. Overall, Missouri Main Street Connection’s annual conference was very worthwhile to attend.” Colleen Barnhart, Vienna Main Street
