The Roaring 20th Anniversary of Missouri Main Street Connection
Missouri Main Street Connection (MMSC) most cordially invites you to the 2026 Missouri’s Premier Downtown Revitalization Conference, which will be held in Springfield, MO on July 29-31. This year’s annual conference will celebrate 20 roaring years of impact by helping Missouri communities strengthen their historic downtowns, grow local economies, and build places where people want to live, work, and belong.
This year’s theme, “The Roaring 20th Anniversary of Missouri Main Street Connection,” uses two decades of success as the foundation for continuing the momentum for revitalizing Missouri’s communities. Local leaders will be equipped with Main Street’s tools to address the needs of today’s communities by expanding our focus on housing development, small business resilience, economic development, and the creation of vibrant, walkable districts that support economic opportunity for all. Join us as we embrace the next chapter and ignite the future successes for Missouri communities
Learning that Moves Communities Forward
“I am grateful for the information and knowledge that I gained from attending the 2025 Main Street Conference. I attended several sessions that gave me great ideas and helped me understand what promotions are and what fundraising is, which is one thing our organization is struggling with.
One thing that I learned from the “Promotions That Make Money” session and that has stuck with me is that an event doesn’t necessarily mean it is a fundraiser, and a fundraiser does not necessarily have to be an event. I also made a ton of great connections and got very useful information to bring back to Main Street Mexico.” Barb Jones, Main Street Mexico
Learning Through Each Others Accomplishments
“During the 2024 revitalization conference, I enjoyed seeing the accomplishments of others through the tours and the presentations. One of the sessions I attended taught me ways to record the lost history of buildings or spaces. This assured me that my dream to record the lost history around the square is possible.
The biggest, most actionable takeaway from this conference for me was to check on the zoning codes of our town. This is a vital step for our community to move forward with revitalizing our historic commercial district. Overall, Missouri Main Street Connection’s annual conference was very worthwhile to attend.” Colleen Barnhart, Vienna Main Street
